Friends of 1st Responders is a 501[C][3] organization designed to better equip and prepare public safety 1st responders to respond to disasters through new technology and equipment It also acts as a consortium for new equipment and resources to connect 1^st Responders with  [250] equipment manufacturers selling products at cost directly to agencies with funds, grant writers, consultants, experts, and training related to national security.  The terrorism of 9/11 has created major problems for our law enforcement, fire/rescue, medical personnel and emergency management teams as well as the general public.  The cities with the biggest threats are receiving the majority of the grant money leaving medium and small departments drained of funds for new technology and equipment.  While individuals donated billions to help tsunami countries without legal accountability as to how the funds were distributed, law holds our 1st Responders to the highest standard and total accountability without the benefit of this groundswell of support.  This is where Friends Of 1^st Responders wound step in to provide the enhanced support, new technology, appropriate training and advanced equipment, which is urgently needed in the post 9/11 environments.  Our 1^st Responders need your help!
