Friends of 1^st Responders provides new technology and equipment services by assisting communities and organizations with assessment of their overall capabilities regarding new technologies and equipment by cutting operating cost by forty percent [40%], in technology, equipment, planning, response and recovery for local emergencies and disasters. Friends of 1^st Responders can help to identify and strengthen areas needing improvement.  It also acts as a consortium for equipment and resources to connect 1^st Responders with manufacturers and consultants, other subject matter experts, and training and research organizations.
