Friends of 1st Responders, nonprofit organization established for the purpose of donating new technology and equipment. It also acts as a consortium for new equipment and resources to connect 1^st Responders with  [250] equipment manufacturers selling products directly to agencies with funds, grant writers, consultants, experts, training, technical support, needs, capability assessments, research, development to 1^st Responder agencies and communities. Prospective recipient agencies and organizations include federal, state and local military departments; law enforcement agencies; fire and rescue departments; health departments; hospitals/emergency departments, other medical agencies; public works and transportation departments; local school systems; private businesses; general public; and other organizations, individuals or groups who may respond to an emergency or disaster.
